Senator Cameron and the Capitol Police are the subjects of this 1924 glass negative, which is dated to March 29 from a related negative in the collection. The National Photo Company, a Washington studio that documented government officials and events in the early twentieth century, made the image, and its title on the negative sleeve is recorded as unverified. Herbert A. French gave the plate to the Library of Congress in 1947. Its streaks and blemishes come from natural deterioration of the original coating, and they are a visible reminder of the material's age.
