Lead with the exhibition itself: this 1937 silkscreen poster promoted an show of art made by children in New York, one of many local events the Works Progress Administration's Federal Art Project publicized. The horse subject and the credit to sculptor Maurice Glickman suggest the show included three-dimensional work alongside painting. Silkscreen was an inexpensive method that let the project print bold, eye-catching posters for display in public spaces. A stamp on the back, dated February 9, 1938, shows the poster was filed and circulated well after the exhibition closed.
