The corner of 10th and G Streets Northwest anchors this view, recorded on a glass negative that the catalog dates to sometime between 1921 and 1922. The title, McLachlen Banking Corporation, comes from information the National Photo Company wrote on the negative or its sleeve, and it has not been independently verified. The firm made many such views of Washington's streets and businesses in the early twentieth century, when the capital was expanding quickly.
