The title names two members of Congress, Rep. Frank Reid and Rep. Curry, along with Farnum Parker, though the record marks these identifications as unverified. The National Photo Company, a Washington studio that recorded officials and public life in the early twentieth century, made the exposure on January 21, 1926. Herbert A. French gave the glass negative to the Library of Congress in 1947, and its coatings show streaks and blemishes from natural deterioration.
