Four stars, Kay Francis, Carole Landis, Mitzi Mayfair and Martha Raye, share top billing on this color poster, which was printed in New York around 1944. "Jill" was wartime slang for the women who entertained American troops, and the title plays on that name for a jeep-borne tour of the sort the Hollywood stars made for the USO. The 1944 film of the same name cast the four women as themselves, so the poster doubles as a snapshot of how studios sold wartime morale.
