Few animated characters are as recognizable as the heroine and seven companions on this poster, drawn from Walt Disney's 1937 feature *Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs*, the first full-length animated film made in the United States. The record dates this color poster to about 1950, well after the film's premiere, so it may be a later promotional or reissue piece rather than an original release. The publisher is unidentified, so the printer and the occasion behind it remain unknown. Its large format, 85 by 62 centimeters, suits the eye-catching posters used to draw audiences to theaters.
