Here Houdini appears at a family grave with his brother William Weiss, and then alone, in three prints that capture the site before its large monument stood in place. Houdini established the plot for the Weiss family, chiefly his mother and himself, and the exedra monument was not unveiled until October 1, 1916. The pictures show the magician planning his own resting place years before his death in 1926. Beatrice Houdini came here to mourn him, but she was buried elsewhere.
