Printed for the Saludo brand under the grade name Florextra fina, this color sheet is the fifth in a numbered series from August Osterrieth of Frankfurt am Main. Cigar makers between the wars used printed labels like this to stand out on crowded shop counters, so bold type and rich color carried much of the sales pitch. It also shows how European firms were turning to photomechanical color printing for mass-produced commercial art around 1930.
