Few posters from the Depression era promote a radio series, which makes this silkscreen print unusual. It advertises *Moments with Genius*, written by the Illinois Writers Project and presented by the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Produced in 1936 under the Federal Art Project, it reflects the New Deal's effort to employ artists and writers on public-facing work. The museum, housed in the former Palace of Fine Arts from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, was then working to bring science to a broad public, and radio extended that reach beyond its galleries. A date stamp of March 25, 1941, on the back records a later stage in the poster's handling.
