This interior view of the Clark Wireless Telegraph Station at Port Huron, Michigan, offers a rare look inside an early wireless facility. Around 1907, wireless telegraphy was still a young technology, relying on spark transmitters and sensitive receivers before vacuum tubes made radio practical. Stations like this one sent messages without wires, and their equipment shows how much of that early work depended on hand-built apparatus. The date is approximate, taken from an old caption card that has not been independently verified.
