Rather than showing a single battlefield, this lithograph fills its background with the names of famous engagements, including Argonne, Chateau-Thierry, St. Mihiel and Belleau Wood, so the appeal to buy bonds becomes a roll call of American service. The Woman's Liberty Loan Committee issued it, and the New York lithography firm Sackett & Wilhelms printed it. The title asks viewers to remember those battles and invest, linking personal financial support to the troops overseas. The record dates it to 1917, though the battle names point to the 1918 campaigns, and the Victory Liberty Loan it promotes was the final war-financing drive, held in 1919.
