A montage of aerial views, this print traces the Lincoln car as a Ford Motor Company subject. Henry Leland founded the Lincoln Motor Company in 1917 and named it for Abraham Lincoln, and Ford acquired the firm in 1922, which is why the record ties Lincoln to Ford's 1920s products. The subject headings also link the picture to automobile manufacturing in Los Angeles and in Wayne County, Michigan, where Ford's major works stood. The date is given only as a probable 1956, so the print likely reflects the company's mid-century promotional view of its own history.
