Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft are the two men named in this color lithograph, which the record credits to the cartoonist Flohri and titles *Up to date*. It ran as a cover of *Judge*, the New York humor weekly, in February 1909, just weeks before Taft took the oath of office and succeeded Roosevelt in the White House. The cover's joke about being current with the times fits that moment, when the 1908 presidential election and the change of administration were the subjects on everyone's mind.
