The Fuller Building, better known as the Flatiron Building, rises on a narrow triangular lot where Broadway and Fifth Avenue meet at 23rd Street in Manhattan. Designed by Daniel Burnham and completed in 1902, its wedge-shaped profile made it one of the city's most recognizable early skyscrapers. This c1909 photoprint shows the building as it was becoming a symbol of New York's rapid vertical growth. The record notes a copyright by A. Loeffler, though the maker's details are unverified.
