This color poster, titled "Hopkins / Bristow Adams," ties the Johns Hopkins University name to a lacrosse subject, with the two names set side by side as the title. Johns Hopkins fielded one of the strongest lacrosse teams of the early 1900s, and the sport drew wide attention from college crowds and local newspapers. The record credits the design to Joseph Binder, but his lifespan (1898 to 1972) makes him an unlikely creator of a 1905 print, so that attribution deserves caution.
