A child's bedroom is an unusual subject for this collection, and the picture is a glass negative, a format commercial studios widely used before flexible film took over. Library staff devised the title, and the date of 1910 to 1920 comes from other negatives in the same range. Herbert A. French gave the negative to the Library in 1947. Streaks and other blemishes are visible, which the Library attributes to natural deterioration of the original coatings.
