Harry Stevens, the concessionaire whose vendors sold food in major league ballparks, appears here alongside Garry Hermann, the Cincinnati Reds executive who also chaired baseball's National Commission. The record gives no date, and the names come from caption data the Bain News Service wrote on the negative or its card, which has not been checked against other sources. Bain's agency photographed sports and public figures during the 1910s, so this pairing fits the baseball-world portraits it made during that period.
