A printed admission card, numbered 448, admitted its holder to Grover Cleveland's second inauguration on March 4, 1893, held at the United States Capitol. Cleveland had won back the presidency from Benjamin Harrison in 1892, making him the only chief executive to serve two nonconsecutive terms. Tickets like this one controlled access to the ceremony's reserved seating, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing produced the card, which reflects the government's printing standards of the era.
