Theodore Roosevelt walks at full length along a street, out in front of a group of men on horseback, and he faces left. The record dates the photograph to c1910 June 23, but that date is unverified, and the caption card gives his title only as "President." Roosevelt left the office in 1909, so if the date is right, the card likely uses his earlier title for a man who was by then a former president. The print was deposited for copyright, one of the routes by which photographs of this period reached the Library of Congress.
