Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia, is known for its long avenues of live oaks draped in Spanish moss, and this view captures that canopy closing overhead like a green corridor. The cemetery was laid out on the former Bonaventure plantation along the Wilmington River, and by the mid-1800s it had become a fashionable place for burial and quiet walks. Its oaks and moss have made it one of the most photographed cemeteries in the South.
