Labeled National Radio School, this glass negative from the National Photo Company records a training institution from the years when wireless was shifting from military and amateur use toward public broadcasting. The title comes from the negative sleeve and is unverified, and the date of 1919 or 1920 is inferred from other negatives in the same range. Herbert A. French gave the plate to the Library of Congress in 1947. It is a copy negative, so it reproduces an earlier print, and the streaks and blemishes visible across it come from natural deterioration of the original coatings.
