The yacht *Henrietta*, listed in this print at 205 tons, was a schooner whose name became well known after she won the first Transatlantic race from New York to Cowes, England, in 1866. Her owner, James Gordon Bennett Jr., sailed her across the Atlantic and made her a famous name in yachting. The record names a modeler but the caption is cut short, so the model's maker is not clear from this entry. Still, the print shows how a sailing yacht of this size was drawn and presented in the period, when accurate ship portraits were prized by owners, sailors, and admirers of fine craft.
