The title, which the National Photo Company wrote on the negative or its sleeve, reads "Times," with the address 1731 K Street Northwest, though the record notes that the attribution is unverified. The glass plate, measuring 8 by 6 inches, is dated 1919 or 1920 from similar negatives in the same range. The faint streaks and blemishes on the plate come from natural deterioration of its original coatings, which is common in glass negatives of this age.
