Issued by Old Mill Cigarettes in 1910, this card belongs to the T210 series, a group of tobacco cards that collectors later catalogued under the "T" numbers assigned by the researcher Jefferson Burdick. Cards like this were packed inside cigarette packages, where their stiff board kept the packs from being crushed and gave buyers a small collectible. Its printing combines relief, halftone and stencil techniques, a mix typical of mass-produced cards from the period. The record's title was supplied by Library staff, and the card is part of the Benjamin K. Edwards Collection of baseball cards.
