Jacqueline Bouvier is shown tossing her bouquet at her wedding to John F. Kennedy on September 12, 1953, in Newport, Rhode Island. The ceremony was held at St. Mary's Church, and the reception followed at Hammersmith Farm, the Auchincloss family estate. The catalog lists her under her later name, Onassis, which reflects how her public identity changed over the following decades. The photographer, Toni Frissell, was known for fashion and society work, and her collection is now held by the Library of Congress.
