This poster opens with a welcome to the Centennial of 1876, under the motto "Liberty and Union For Ever," which sets it apart from the many other views of the fair. The 1876 Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park marked a hundred years since the Declaration of Independence. The record dates the poster to 1900, about a quarter century after the fair closed, so it may be a later commemorative issue. That date comes from an unverified caption card and is worth checking.
