A Spanish-language edition of a British naval poster is an unusual find in a collection of First World War material. The title, *La marina britanica en la guerra* ("The British Navy in the War"), announces the subject plainly, and the catalog ties the poster to the war's communications, meaning the sea routes that carried supplies and messages. A companion English version exists, so this is a translation of a poster meant to show the Royal Navy's role to Spanish-speaking readers. The printer's imprint gives Stamford, England, and a date of about 1915, early in the conflict. The catalog also lists naval officers among its subjects, which points to the public prominence that senior British admirals held during the war.
