Tractors dominate this Catalan-language lithograph, whose title, *L'agricultura tot per al Front*, translates roughly as "Agriculture, everything for the Front." It was printed in Barcelona for the National Confederation of Labor (CNT), the anarcho-syndicalist union that held wide influence in Catalonia after the military uprising of July 1936. The poster ties farm work directly to the war effort, presenting food production as a duty owed to the troops fighting Franco's forces. Collectivized farms in Catalonia and Aragon gave this appeal particular weight during the conflict.
