Columbia College in 1828 stood in lower Manhattan, not on the Morningside Heights campus it occupies today. This engraving shows the institution as it looked when it was still a downtown college, founded as King's College in 1754 and renamed after the Revolution. The print is credited to the engraver S. Hollyer, and its catalog date of about 1906 points to a later printing of an earlier view rather than an original from 1828. The record's details are unverified, so the exact vantage point and the date of the source drawing are worth checking against other sources.
