Titled *Old Autumn* by James Knox Millen and staged at the Waterloo Theater, this color silkscreen poster advertises a production that the record places in Iowa. The Federal theater Project, part of the Works Progress Administration, staged plays across the country during the Depression, and local Federal Art Project units produced posters like this one to promote them. The verso bears a July 8, 1937 date stamp, so the sheet was likely handled that summer, well before the autumn subject it advertises.
