This color halftone reproduces a drawing that ran across two facing pages of *Puck* in the October 8, 1913, issue. The satirical weekly was founded by Joseph Keppler and was known for its large color cartoons, and the firm Keppler & Schwarzmann held the copyright noted on this print. The title, *Memories*, suggests a reflective theme rather than the topical political satire the magazine was best known for. The details come from an old caption card and are unverified, so the subject and artist are best checked against the magazine itself.
