This tall, narrow color poster, about 212 by 99 centimeters, advertises the Cincinnati Fall Festival and was printed by Strobridge & Co. in 1900. Strobridge, a lithography firm with offices in Cincinnati and New York, produced large display posters for theaters, circuses, and civic events in this period. Autumn festivals of the era typically combined parades, exhibitions, and public entertainment, and posters like this one were pasted on streets and walls to draw crowds. The date and attribution come from an older caption card and have not been independently verified.
