The name Namara is the only identifying detail here, taken from the Bain News Service's negative or caption card and flagged in the record as unverified. The Bain News Service was a New York picture agency founded by George Grantham Bain around 1899, supplying newspapers with news and portrait photographs of stage people, public figures and events. Glass plates like this one were the standard medium for press work before flexible film took over, and the missing date leaves the sitter and occasion open for researchers to pursue.
