A color lithograph poster from the Courier Lithographing Company of Buffalo, New York, promotes the women's edition of the *Buffalo Courier* published on May 8, 1895. In the 1890s, many American newspapers issued special editions aimed at women readers, often featuring society news, household and fashion writing, and reports on women's clubs and charitable work, and this poster shows how the Courier used bold graphic advertising to draw attention to one. Because the newspaper and its printing house were both in Buffalo, the poster also documents the city's commercial printing industry during this period.
