This color poster promotes *The Thief of Bagdad* and singles out Sabu and June Duprez as its performers. The record dates it to 1947, although the film itself was made in 1940 by Alexander Korda's London studio, with Technicolor photography that was among the most lavish of its era. Sabu, a young actor discovered in India, played the boy Abu, and his casting helped make the film a popular fantasy spectacle. The poster shows how studios kept Arabian Nights adventures before audiences through later releases.
