The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston was the mother church of the movement Mary Baker Eddy founded, and this view records it during the years when it was taking shape on Huntington Avenue in the Back Bay. Eddy had set out the movement's teachings in *Science and Health*, first published in 1875, and the church became its central congregation. The print was copyrighted by Willis G.C. Kimball of Concord, New Hampshire, and its subject headings also name Eddy, who lived until 1910.
