The name here, the Comtesse De Bryas, comes from a caption card that the Library of Congress itself marks as unverified, so treat the identity as provisional. The image is a glass negative, five by seven inches or smaller, of the kind Bain News Service produced for newspapers in New York during the early 1900s. Founded by George Grantham Bain, the agency built a large archive of news and society pictures, and its glass plates show how press photographs were made and captioned in that era.
