Three names make up the title of this glass negative: Margaret Little, Earl Columbus and Blanche Lehman. The title comes from a label written by the National Photo Company and has not been independently verified. The 1926 date is an estimate based on neighboring negatives in the same range. The company produced a large body of portraits and event pictures in the early twentieth century, and its glass negatives reached the Library of Congress as a gift from Herbert A. French in 1947. Glass this old often shows streaks and small blemishes where the original coating has deteriorated, and marks like these may appear here.
