This brochure is distinctive for its cutaway drawings, which show the interior layout of the airship alongside reproduced photographs of the Graf Zeppelin (LZ127). Its advertising role reflects the late 1920s and early 1930s, when the Hamburg-America Line promoted passenger flights on the ship, named for Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin. The airship made a number of transatlantic crossings and a round-the-world flight in 1929, and printed material like this aimed to persuade travelers that air travel could be comfortable and dependable. The record gives no firm date, so the exact year of printing is uncertain.
