The Danish title of this color lithograph, *Rustningernes krig*, translates roughly as "The War of Armaments," and its subtitle promises an account of how Great Britain mobilized its industries. Printed in 1917 and numbered 15 in its series, it was likely aimed at Danish readers, part of the wartime effort to present Britain's case to neutral countries. Its subject is the economic side of the war: the factories, munitions output, and industrial labor that Britain turned to the conflict after 1914. The initials G.K. are the only attribution in the record.
