A color lithographic poster from about 1928 advertises photographic supplies sold by Capi at Noordeinde 124 in The Hague, issued for the firm v. Caspel. It was printed in Amsterdam by Senefelder, a name that recalls Alois Senefelder, who developed lithography in 1796. Dutch commercial posters of the 1920s often used bold flat color and simplified forms to catch the eye of passersby on busy streets, and this one follows that style. The word "Gedeponeerd" printed on it indicates the design was registered, a common notice on Dutch commercial prints of the period.
