This color poster advertises *The Blue Bird*, and its record links it to Jane Fonda's performance in the production. The title comes from Maurice Maeterlinck's 1908 symbolist fairy play, in which two children search the world for the Blue Bird of happiness and find it was close to home all along. The 1976 film adaptation, directed by George Cukor, cast Fonda as Night. The poster is undated beyond its approximate 1976 date, and its printer is not identified in the record.
