The title of this glass negative names three men, H.H. Price, Thos. Blasey and Arthur M. Gibson, though those names come from the National Photo Company's labels and have not been independently verified. The date of about 1920 is inferred from neighboring negatives in the same range. The National Photo Company was a Washington, D.C., studio known for its large body of early twentieth-century views, and this plate reached the Library of Congress as a 1947 gift from Herbert A. French. Streaks and blemishes on the glass come from natural deterioration of the original coating.
