*Save seed corn now!* is a 1917 color lithograph aimed at farmers in the Upper Midwest, printed by the Scott Printing Company of Minneapolis. Its text warns of an alarming seed shortage, with poor-quality stock and little available to buy, and asks farmers to report any surplus to their banks for sale at a good price. Uncle Sam appears in the design, reflecting the federal government's push for food production after the United States entered World War I in April 1917.
