Cats move among the potted plants in *Winter Garden*, a 1935 lithograph by Wanda Gág. Gág grew up in New Ulm, Minnesota, and became best known for children's books, and her fondness for cats shows in *Millions of Cats* (1928). The sheet is signed in pencil and was distributed by the American Artists Group, which sold affordable prints during the 1930s so that ordinary households could own work by working artists. Its quiet scene of a sunlit room full of green leaves against the winter season reflects the decade's interest in everyday domestic life.
