This print reproduces pages XII and XIII of *Genesis: Verses from a Manuscript of William Blake*, a 1952 facsimile of a manuscript Blake wrote out in his later years, when he was working on illuminated texts and watercolor designs for a small circle of patrons. Its two facing pages show how Blake combined his handwriting with decorative and pictorial elements, so the reproduction records both the text and the page layout of the original. The record notes that the image was published in the 1952 volume and may also appear in a 1982 issue of the *Quarterly Journal of the Library of Congress*, though the catalog data was taken from an unverified caption card.
