The only title on record for this negative is "Crimi," a fragment that the Bain News Service apparently wrote on the glass or its caption card, and the catalog flags it as unverified. No date survives, so the picture can't be placed in time with any certainty. It belongs to the George Grantham Bain Collection, a body of news photographs made by a New York agency that supplied pictures to newspapers in the early twentieth century. Its small glass negatives were typical of that working press, so the title is best read as a clue to check rather than a settled fact.
