Three named women are the focus of this glass negative: Mrs. Farquahar, with Misses Tiffany, Clendennin and Warren, according to the caption card. The Bain News Service, a New York photo agency that sold pictures to newspapers and magazines in the early twentieth century, produced the negative, and George Grantham Bain's collection later passed to the Library of Congress.
