The tagline printed here, "I saw what you did and I know who you are," is the hook of a 1965 Universal Pictures thriller, and the whole plot turns on that line. Joan Crawford and John Ireland headline the cast, and the poster's bold color and lettering reflect how studios sold suspense to moviegoers in the mid-1960s. Director William Castle was known for pairing low-budget chillers with showmanship and stunts, and that tagline-first approach shows in the design. Look closely at the layout and you can see how much weight the words carry.
