Seventy army camps are named in this color lithograph, which promotes the YWCA's hostess houses as a homelike place for soldiers and the families who visited them. The poster was drawn by the cartoonist Briggs, whose work appeared in the New York Tribune. During the war the association ran such houses near training camps, offering meals, reading rooms and lodging, and the poster's domestic appeal shows how heavily wartime messaging leaned on the idea of home.
